We're gearing up for our annual Paso del Norte Aviation Hall of Fame on February 27, 2026, and we need your help to make it a huge success! As always, a great event starts and ends with a smooth setup and breakdown. Your support in these crucial volunteer shifts would make a world of difference.

We're seeking volunteers for the following roles:

**Setup Crew**
**Time:** Thursday, Feb. 26, 2026, at 9:00 am
**Tasks:** Help with setting up tables, chairs, decorations, and other necessary equipment.
**Details:** This is the perfect role for those who enjoy working with a team to transform a space.

**Breakdown Crew**
**Time:** Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026, at 9:00 am
**Tasks:** Help with packing up equipment, taking down decorations, and ensuring the venue is clean and tidy.
**Details:** The post-event cleanup is a vital step, and a great way to help us finish strong.

We're excited to announce that we are participating in the Science Festival this year once again in El Paso, TX, on April 18 and 19, 2026, and we need your help to make it a success! We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to assist with setup/breakdown, engage with the guests, teach guests about aviation, and the museum help with event activities.

The Science Festival will be held at the El Paso Convention Center and will feature many activities, displays, information from different science areas, and family activities.

Maintaining the cleanliness and luster of our museum displays for visitors requires significant effort. Become a member of War Eagles Air Museum and utilize your cleaning abilities. You'll receive all the necessary tools for cleaning display items and removing those annoying fingerprints from cases. We're looking for volunteers for 45 to 60 minutes daily, with flexible hours available. This job supports the museum's goal by offering maintenance work in our public spaces, ensuring visitors enjoy a spotless and inviting environment.

Enjoy the museum's happenings but find it hard to stick to a consistent volunteer routine? Step up as a special events volunteer! The War Eagles Air Museum organizes a variety of special occasions throughout the year, such as previews for members of exhibitions, The Easter Egg Hunt leading up to Halloween Haunt, and our yearly Christmas celebration at War Eagles Air Museum. From welcoming guests and directing traffic to handling tickets and managing crowds, there are numerous chances to help out and ensure this year's events are unforgettable. This position aids the museum's goals by offering assistance in our captivating events for the local community.

The museum archives focuses on gathering and preserving documents of enduring and significant research importance, no matter their format. The range of materials a museum archives aims to collect should be explicitly defined in the main institution's comprehensive collections statement or kept distinct by the archives department. The items included in the archives' collection focus should enhance the museum's collection and exhibition activities and demonstrate a dedication to diversity and inclusion.

Museum photographers are tasked with the responsibility of capturing photographs of various objects, individuals, landscapes, and other items exhibited within galleries and during events. Their contributions play a pivotal role in the preservation, accessibility, and maintenance of museum collections. Additionally, these photographers may be required to develop negatives or undertake the editing process of photographs using computer software to produce the final prints.

Goal: Our main objective is to assemble and prepare the MiG-23 for display by 2026.

Purpose:
- Restore and assemble the aircraft for exhibit
- Maintain historical accuracy
- Ensure a museum-quality, safe presentation

It is important to note that this aircraft will not be made operational or run at any point during the project.
